Maintains and evaluates network management software and tools to deliver operational efficiency. Product ownership of in-house developed and vendor Network Manageability tools such as Network and Host Discovery, network mapping tools, data capture tools to name a few. Ensuring tool stability, uptime and new enhancements are planned and implemented in a timely manner. Technically savvy, is able to provide broad direction to the team in terms of the right technical direction for projects. Is able to translate technical roadmaps and strategy to implementable projects. Is passionate about exploring and adopting new technologies such as AI for Networking, Is technically well versed with Networking technologies and able to execute projects and address and resolve complex issues, working with the team. Overseeing the execution and delivery of key projects for the Network Manageability team. Working closely with Architect, Engineers and Operations team members to ensure the team is delivering on our key priority items. Collaborates with partner teams to design and implement tools for automating processes that involve the network infrastructure, network deployment, and operational tasks. Builds tools to configure, monitor, maintain, and visualize Intel's network that connects multiple data centers, adhering to standard network operating procedures and policies. Engage Information security team to ensure security compliance of products and solutions, and security gaps are fixed and addressed on priority by the team. Vendor management: working with vendors to influence product roadmaps, have planned reviews, fix product bugs and build a strong partnership for success Engage customers, seek their inputs and understand requirements while translating them to projects and solutions. Product Ownership activities: Release planning, defining priorities for the team, understanding interdependencies, resolve conflicts, manage the Agile Budgeting Forecast (ABF) activities. Working with the Scrum Masters of the two APTs to ensure daily operations are managed, ensuring delivery to commitments and Sprints are planned and executed to meet team objectives. Responsible for ensuring product roadmaps are updated and reviewed by tool owners on a regular basis. Managing Tech Debt Reduction (TDR) activities, to ensure we run and operate a healthy, resilient, secure and stable environment with supported versions of HW and SW. SQL skills will be an advantage such as design of database solutions, code reviews, table structures and being the go to person to clarify issues for database team members. Financial management of team budget: involved in yearly financial planning activities, managing to the budget, aware of the Capital and Expense spends, ordering process, ensuring the team stays financially disciplined and manages to allocated budget. Takes the initiative to drive improvements in the team, ensuring we deliver to our Objectives as committed while maintain quality. Ensuring alignment with Network Services Org objectives Scans the market to assess technology, product and automation solutions and tools applicable to Intel's network environment. Contributes to building next generation solutions for network and security services, enhances the current service levels and manages the asset lifecycle including patch compliance, vulnerability management and configuration drift management.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information technology or equivalent with over 10 years of experience in IT. Strong technical skills in Network domain. Familiar with using Agile methodologies and practices, understand and perform the role of a PO. Knowledge and experience with the Product and Project lifecycle. Stakeholder management, working with teams in the Network Services org and beyond, making strong connections with technical leaders, Product Owners within the organization. Vendor management skills and Influencing skills. Should be a good communicator, assertive and able to make decisions in the interest of the team. Good decision making skills and practices. Has good problem solving skills and is passionate about finding solutions and resolving complex issues. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrate key values such as Results Focus, Customer Orientation, Quality in work delivered and, Risk taking. Is strategic and able to translate strategy-to-action. Is passionate about growing and broadening skills in Networking domain and beyond. Needs to be collaborative, enjoys working with people and teams. Ability to delegate and ensure the team aligns with the domain priorities and goals. Database working knowledge, design of DB solutions and writing queries will be an advantage. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
