The Dell Sales Team is looking for a experienced and positive professional sales person to help further Intel compute, AI accelerated, storage and network server business within Dell’s Infrastructure Sales Group (ISG).  While this is a sales position, the best candidate will possess strength in technology and an ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.  Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken form are critical to help bridge communications between Intel and Dell stakeholders to ensure the fastest path to understanding each other and making the right business decisions.  An ability to take confusing details and condense into a simple communication is especially valuable.  A high emotional quotient is a requirement due to the intense competitive environment which brings enough challenges to the job on its own leaving no room for interpersonal challenges.  A positive attitude with tendency toward collaboration is critical for success. 

This is a commission sales position based in Austin, TX.  The sales account manager will be focused on driving Intel’s server business and mindshare within Dell’s product line.  The candidate should have ability to engage and build deep relationships with the Dell customer executive leadership team, technical decision makers and industry influencers.  The person should be able to crisply summarize customer business and technical challenges with industry knowledge such as market insights.  The goal is to be a trusted advisor and thought leader at the customer and internally.  Seeing the customer challenges and / or competitive threats and making impactful recommendations to the internal business unit is required.  Dell is the top OEM in the mainstream enterprise market and a target for Intel competitors to disrupt Intel business objectives.  Ability to evaluate pricing and investment vehicles to drive Intel’s best outcomes are key. The candidate will be responsible for communicating strategies executed at Dell and Intel HQ out to the edge sellers or consumption teams to help align sales out with sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the server business, aligning with company goals and market trends.

Drive revenue growth through effective sales and marketing strategies, leveraging market insights to identify new opportunities and expand market share.

Build and maintain strong relationships with Dell and Intel stakeholders

Provide leadership and guidance fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and technological advancements, adapting the business strategy as needed to stay ahead of the curve.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field with 8+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers, driving collaboration and driving customer satisfaction.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
