Fall 2024 GPU ML Performance Architect Co-Op/ Intern

JOB LOCATION:

Santa Clara, CA

ONSITE: This role requires the student to work from the Santa Clara, CA office throughout the duration of the Co-op/Intern term. First-time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite.

PROGRAM TERM:
Fall: August 19 or September 9 - December 13, 2024

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

AMD is looking for an individual to join our GPU architecture team to work on next generation machine learning acceleration. The job includes architecture modeling and developing Deep Learning GPU kernels for architecture exploration and performance projection.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ or python
• Experience with GPU programing
• Strong understanding of GPU architecture
• Knowledge of Parallel-Computing or GPUs
• Familiarity with deep neural network machine learning technologies and modern machine learning programming frameworks
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills required

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Ph.D. or M.S. student in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with ML workload acceleration on GPUs.
• Understanding of computer architecture.
• Adequate communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
