Job Description

The Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) team in Chandler, Arizona is looking for highly motivated individuals to sustain, ramp, and transfer new technologies using state of the art equipment and materials.

This OTF's Process Engineering Internship positions is a Year-Round, on-campus opportunity. Interns who will work part time (15-31 hours/week) during the school year and full time (40 hours/week) in the summer, onsite at the Ocotillo Campus. Hybrid/virtual work schedules are not permitted.

Ideally, candidates must be able to start this position in August, attending 2 weeks of onboarding training (full time) and then moving to part time once the school semester starts. Candidates will not work more than 31 hours during the school semester.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Sustaining day-to-day operations across all shifts to deliver best-in-class results for tool availability.

• Cycle time

• Defects and parametric performance.

• Design and plan the layout for such processes as hardening, washing, laminating, etching, engraving, polishing, painting, plating, and other material processing operations.

• Hands-on participation with frequent factory floor presence is expected.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be an actively enrolled and progressing as a student pursuing a Master's of Science Degree in a Process Engineering STEM field (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science, Physics, Industrial Engineering, etc.)

• Must possess and maintain a 3.0 min GPA to qualify for an internship

• Must maintain full-time student status during internship (minimum 12 credit hours /semester)

This position is in Chandler, Arizona at Intel's Ocotillo Facility. Relocation assistance will not be provided.
