Specifically, within our Technology Risk sub-service line serving the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industry, we work extensively to assess the technological risks associated with business analytics relied upon by technology and media organizations operating within the advertising industry. You will assess whether organizations are employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to meet industry standards. Through our examinations of startup to Fortune 500 companies, we facilitate trust within the industry and provide purpose driven career growth opportunities for our people.
What you will do
Understand current and emerging issues impacting companies operating within the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industry.
Grow lasting relationships with our TMT client representatives and understand their unique ambitions to build a better working world through our delivery of industry-tailored, standards-based examinations and industry-relevant advice.
Understand and document business and IT processes, risks and controls within global organizations delivering media content and advertising measurement to consumers.
Gather information to perform root cause analysis and providing recommendations to key TMT industry representatives.
Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop timelines, risk assessments, budgets and other planning documents.
Coordinate with companies to obtain and examine materials required for the examination.
Perform substantive and controls-based testing over business operations relevant to the delivery of media content and advertising measurement.
Develop executive presentations to update key stakeholders on project status and results.
Job requirements and preferences
Required qualifications
Have or be working toward, an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Information Systems or a related discipline.
Work may be required in excess of standard hours. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Living in Tampa, FL or willing to relocate
Preferred qualifications
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
Subject matter interest in the field of technology, media and telecommunications, as well as desire to work exclusively on organizations operating within this industry.
Demonstrate project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
