Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Service Center Parts Clerk. This position will ensure timely management of the parts process.  Tasks include: part ordering/receiving, communication with Tulsa Shared Services, management of inventory for two maintain facilities, vendor management, cost savings, lot organization, and more.  This is a great opportunity to make an impact on our business through this key operational role.

This position pays $19.00 / hr and is located at 17326 Pine Cut Houston, TX 77032

 

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm 

 

Responsibilities

  • We are hiring now for immediate openings.  Responsibilities include:

    • Manage Second Key Process – Communicate with branches on key availability and maintain inventory.
    • WIP Report – Support multiple locations with reporting.
    • Manage and complete all parts ordering: Quickly and accurately order parts based on initial estimates and supplements; Communicate with parts vendors to order parts as needed; Partner with dealers to ensure parts accuracy.
    • Monitor deliveries: Regularly track parts status and communicate with vendor on parts status as needed; Update management on status.
    • Receive and check in parts: Receive and mirror match delivered parts to repair orders and ensure all parts are placed and accounted for on Technician shelf.
    • Inspect delivered parts for quality: Inspect parts for damage upon delivery.
    • Return incorrect parts: Return incorrect parts immediately to the vendor.
    • Drive parts related KPIs: Monitor parts margin, pending credits, shop consumables inventory and material spend; Communicate to Service Center Manager as needed to discuss optimization.
    • Support Technicians with parts knowledge: Supply reference materials to Technicians to ensure proper parts usage as needed; Keep up on laws and regulations of parts installation.
    • Sound Judgment – Makes good decisions by analyzing the situation, leveraging experience, and using available information; Objectively evaluates problems, discovers root causes, and works toward timely
    • Parts Inventory - inventory for two main facilities and determine needs and accurately specify parts accordingly.
    • Warranty Parts- Record warranty parts returned and maintained per manufacturers requirements.
    • Lot organization – Ensure that cars are moved to the correct area as needed.
    • Environmental/Safety -Maintain SDS, delivery inspections for oil and  used tires, help monitor fire extinguishers and eye wash stations.
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver\'s license with a good driving record, no more than 2 at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years (1 of the 2 violations or at-fault accidents must fall off within 12 months of employment).
  • No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DWI/DUI)  in past 5 years.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Mechanical experience preferred
  • Must have excellent verbal, computer, data entry and typing skills.
  • Must have the ability to accurately input and document parts purchasing in the computer system
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be able to lift 20lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to work the following schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
