Are you interested in understanding businesses from different sectors of the economy through numbers? Would you like to start your career by building your capabilities in financial analysis? Then you should join our successful Nordic Transaction Diligence team at EY in Helsinki who excel at deep diving into companies’ financial performance in complex acquisition processes. Our team has a broad expertise across many different industries and clients and our business is rapidly growing. We are now looking for students working on their master’s degree to join our team.

 

As an Analyst Trainee within our Transaction Diligence team, you will assist in the preparation of client deliverables as well as gather, verify, and analyze information on companies as part of financial due diligence assignments. You will also participate in the communication with other stakeholders such as investment banks, strategy houses and law firms as part of a wider team of advisors to create value for our clients.

  • Qualifications:
    • You are studying towards a master’s or equivalent degree in the field of accounting, finance, economics or engineering
    • Genuine interest in accounting and finance and applying these skills in the transaction space
    • Analytical mindset and social intelligence in order to work in a multicultural and fast paced environment
    • On top of solid skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) you have enthusiasm towards applying analytics (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI) and AI in your daily work
