USA - SaT - Infrastructure Advisory - Intern - Summer 2025
About our business
EY’s Strategy and Transactions (SaT) professionals work with clients to create social and economic value by helping them make better, more informed decisions about strategically managing capital and transactions in fast-changing markets. Working in SaT is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to become a world-class business advisor to some of the largest and most prestigious entities in the world. You will gain technical expertise, access to a variety of industries, holistic views of entities’ issues and strategic objectives, as well as deep knowledge and firsthand experience with the range of value-creating solutions we provide. We believe that by helping entities manage their capital agenda and driving their value, we’ll help them increase returns through improved decisions across all aspects of their capital agenda - and here you’ll be right at the heart of that mission.
What you will do
The Ernst & Young Infrastructure Advisors, LLC team provides financial, strategic and commercial advice on large scale infrastructure projects and programs across the United States, with a focus on public sector clients (e.g., federal, state and local agencies, economic development authorities and universities) and innovative capital projects and programs (including public-private partnerships) across multiple sectors, including all modes of transportation, utilities and renewable energy, social infrastructure, telecom, and urban redevelopment and resilience, and other components of the built environment.
We’re setting precedent in a rapidly evolving and growing industry, and we’ll need you to drive innovation by helping our clients address challenges and think critically about the way projects are developed and have a long-lasting impact on infrastructure delivery and operations across the country. As an advisor, you’ll be a core, client-facing member of small engagement teams of 3-4 people, making this role ideal for developing your skills and career. With support from your tight-knit team, you’ll have the autonomy to grow and excel, all while working on truly transformational infrastructure projects.
