What you will do

As a staff consultant, you\'ll support essential project tasks, learn from experienced colleagues, and begin to build your expertise within your chosen domain. You\'ll contribute to the success of each project, ensuring goals are met in line with client needs and gaining the confidence of team members through your dedication and growing knowledge. In supply chain, you will address complex issues and help protect our clients’ operations. By assessing our clients\' overarching strategy, we help redefine end-to-end supply chain and operations to support their enterprise objectives.

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives.

  • Participate in meetings, conduct interviews, and facilitate workshops to gather information.

  • Be responsible for conducting research and analysis on specific topics, industries, or market trends to support the consulting team\'s recommendations and strategies.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, proposals, and other documentation that communicates findings, recommendations, and plans to clients.

Job Requirements and Preferences

  • Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing an undergrad or master\'s degree with a strong foundation in supply chain management, supply chain engineering, industrial engineering, computer engineering, computer information systems, computer science, management information systems

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and develop appropriate solutions under guidance.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain a flexible approach in various project settings.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrates a capacity to innovate and adapt in a dynamic business environment, continuously seeking improvement.

  • Demonstrated project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Aptitude, interest, and/or experience in Java, Javascript, .Net, Python, C, C++, PHP, web development, analytics focused tools and platforms such as SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI, business process design, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as SAP or Oracle, or integration tools.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint

  • Exhibits a strong desire to learn and a purpose-driven approach to transform challenges into opportunities and drive impactful change.

  • Utilizes structured thinking to effectively analyze, articulate, and solve complex problems.

  • Employs collaborative skills and a keen interest in technology to positively impact both global and domestic business operations.

  • Shows a strong bias for action with impeccable follow-through on tasks and project deliverables.

  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

What we offer

We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The salary range for this job, in the US, is $78,000-$88,000. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.

In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
