Junior Consultant - Process & Controls
Job Description
EY is looking for a Junior Consultant to join our Process & Controls competency within Business Consulting. The Budapest based team offers broad range of consultancy services dedicated to transforming our clients’ businesses by providing high-value and trusted advice to clients within various industries, both in Hungary and abroad, aiming to identify risks, implement internal controls, improve processes across the enterprise.
The Opportunity
As a new member of our team, you will support clients on diverse assignments related to Risk Management, Internal Control, Process Improvement, Internal Audit, and unique projects for Emerging Risk Management, supported by Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics solutions to Hungarian and international clients under the supervision of the project Senior Consultant.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Active involvement in Process & Controls projects related to Risk Management, Internal Control, Process Improvement, Internal Audit, and unique projects for Emerging Risk Management within various industries, both in Hungary and abroad. The specific project role would be agreed based on your experience and your skill sets
- Support the Senior Consultants in their tasks and daily work
- Preparation of proposals for prospective clients
- Writing reports and presentations
- Opportunity to cooperate with other consulting teams during different projects
Skills and attributes for success
- Finished or ongoing college or university degree in either Economics, Finance, Accounting or another relevant field
- Good knowledge and comfort with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Fluent language knowledge of English and Hungarian language (spoken and written)
- Enthusiastic, proactive and result & detail-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication skills
Advantage
- Relevant previous work experience in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, External or Internal Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls fields are appreciated but not required
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIA, public accountant)
- Knowledge and experience with Enterprise Risk Management systems (e.g. SAP), data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics solutions
- Flexibility for domestic and international travel for short term assignments
- Good presentation skills
