The Strategic Account Executive (Enterprise) is responsible for the strategic relationship between Microsoft and a leading Enterprise Commercial (Strategic Account) customer. The role aims to maximise the value of our customers’ Microsoft investments so they can empower their team members, engage their customers and deliver an outstanding experience and maximise operations and provide actionable business insights to serve and support the customers’ mission.
The Strategic Account Executive plays a pivotal role in customer transformation through strong partnership, this is an executive role that orchestrates and leads across Microsoft teams in Australia, regionally and globally, and across Microsoft’s partner ecosystem.
The Microsoft Strategic Account Executive is a trusted advisor who leads with deep connection to Microsoft’s mission and values, and deep conviction to enable customer outcomes and impact and value in the Australian community. This approach enables true strategic partnerships that are sustainable and deliver positive impact to both Microsoft and to our customer.
Strategic Account Executive:
- Develops and leads high performing team across Microsoft, and our partner ecosystem and has a strong reputation for sales excellence and accountability
- See the ‘big picture’ and proactively and comfortably engages with the CEO and C-Suite on their business goals
- Has a passion for working in technology-led business transformation
- Has a strong knowledge of the Retail and Consumer Goods industry and future industry trends
- Is customer obsessed and has a deep desire to work creatively and innovating to drive genuine industry and societal breakthroughs
- Articulates complex problems and solutions with clarity
- Is experienced in working with a globally distributed customer and global colleagues with an engagement style that seeks to understand and embrace geographical and cultural differences
