Job Description
We are looking to hire a Strategic Account Management Director - Banking. In this role, you will manage the development and application of a mature and dynamic customer plan based on proven methodologies to sustain a long-term business portfolio. You will collaborate across organizations and partners to impact the broader ecosystem, such as passing legislation. You will leverage close relationships with leaders, including C-level executives, to shape long-term strategic direction and influence business metrics.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the creation of a multi-year customer plan that details critical insights and new business opportunities aligned with customer priorities. You will direct the execution of strategies for the assigned account to ensure engagements yield high-volume sales, increase revenue potential, and open new opportunities for both Microsoft and its partners. Additionally, you will coach the team on expanding their strategic network of key internal and external partners and decision-makers to ensure the execution of core tasks and account transactions, providing a comprehensive account management experience. You will initiate collaborative opportunities with key internal and external partners, as well as business and technical decision-makers, and manage team efforts to execute on collected feedback regarding additional needs, products, and features.
Furthermore, you will coach the team on leveraging Microsoft sales strategies, lead strategic discussions by articulating ideas to transform customer business models to better serve their own customers, and increase profitability. You will lead by example in leveraging unique, strategic industry-focused business insights and opportunities, and proactively own and elevate a transformative customer engagement strategy, driving the execution of long-term strategies. In addition to these responsibilities, this role includes people management duties such as driving employee growth and development, executing projects, and managing performance.
This role can be located either in New York, NY or Charlotte, NC. In this role, you'll be expected to visit the customer site regularly, multiple times a week.
