The Payroll Accounting team within Finance Operations (FinOps) is an integral part of Microsoft’s Modern Finance journey and digital transformation.

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for providing centralized controllership functions for all people-related expenses flowing through payroll by utilizing standardized processes and strong compliance for the organization and then engaging with leaders to effect changes that align with evolving business needs. This position interfaces with a global leadership team and requires cross functional collaboration with key stakeholders to drive Finance Operations’ key performance metrics and analytics.  Keys to success include driving to a global process standard where possible while relentlessly pursuing opportunities to automate and improve our analytical and reporting capabilities.

A successful candidate brings an operational excellence mindset, champions continuous process improvement, and is adept at getting things done with the ability to dive into the details.
