Job Description
Summary
This program offers doctoral students in clinical psychology a one-year, full-time clinical internship emphasizing advanced training in the provision of psychological services. The internship program has defined five core training goals, which are met through the unique training experiences offered by the primary training tracks, as well as through the program's core training activities.
The educational objectives of the internship are:
- Emphasize advanced training in the provision of Clinical Psychological Services.
- Broaden the intern's exposure to clinical practice and scholarly research.
- Prepare interns for subsequent certification and/or licensure as Psychologists.
Job Duties

Receives training in:
- Competence in Assessment/Diagnosis/Consultation.
- Competence in Psychological Intervention.
- Competence in Scholarly Inquiry.
- Awareness of and Sensitivity to Cultural Diversity and Individual Differences.
- Professional and Ethical Conduct.

Participates in:
- Diagnostic interviewing.
- Assessment/evaluation.
- Consultation/coordination of care.
- Psychological intervention/therapy.
- Participation in clinical supervision and training program didactics.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a psychology-related field doctoral program.
